Privacy Policy
How QRDock handles, and mostly avoids handling, your data.
Last updated June 11, 2026
The short version
QRDock generates QR codes and barcodes entirely in your browser. The content you put into a code is never transmitted to us, because there is no server that receives it.
What we do not collect
We do not collect the contents of your codes, the URLs, passwords, contact details, product numbers or CSV files you work with. These are encoded on your device and never uploaded.
Information stored on your device
To remember preferences (such as theme) and any drafts you choose to save, QRDock may use your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB. This data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere. You can remove it at any time by clearing local data or your browser data.
Cookies and analytics
QRDock does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising or analytics. Because generated codes are static and contain no redirect, we cannot and do not track scans.
Third-party libraries
The app loads open-source generation libraries from a public content delivery network so it can run in your browser. Loading these files is a standard web request and does not include any of your code content.
Your choices
- •Clear local data from the FAQ & Privacy page or your browser settings.
- •Use the app offline after it has loaded.
- •Decline to save any drafts.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will change with it.
