Frequently asked questions
Are my QR code contents uploaded?
No. The text behind your code is encoded into a matrix in your browser and drawn to a canvas. It is never sent to a server.
Do I need an account?
No accounts, no sign-in. Open the tool and start generating.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
You can style colors, dots and quiet-zone margin here. Logo overlays are on the roadmap; uploaded logos would also stay local.
Does QRDock track scans?
No. Because there is no backend or redirect, there is nothing to track. These are static codes that point directly at your content.
Can I create dynamic QR codes?
Not in this build. Dynamic codes need a hosted redirect and analytics, which would break the no-server, no-tracking promise.
Can I batch generate codes?
Yes. The Batch Generator parses a CSV in your browser, validates each row, and exports a ZIP of SVG files.
Which barcode formats are supported?
Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, ITF-14, Codabar, MSI and Pharmacode.
Are barcodes compliant for regulated use?
QRDock does not guarantee compliance. Always verify symbology standards and print quality before commercial use.
